Body is an exploration of a wide range of materials as well as artistic approaches. A visual dialogue emerges between soft and hard forms—fibrous sculptures and two-dimensional textile works contrast with the rigidity of ceramics. Photography further expands this conversation by presenting the body directly and examining its transformation through movement, labor, parenthood, and the mediation of the digital screen.

An underlying current of femininity runs throughout the exhibition, reflecting both personal experience and a deep attraction to works that engage with vulnerability and identity. In my own practice, I focus on the exposed and vulnerable body—on the act of being “naked” in public view. While presenting artwork is always an act of vulnerability, this tension is heightened when the work directly or abstractly represents flesh and the self.

Transformation is a central thread across the exhibition: bodies that age and decay, bodies that heal, strengthen, and mend. Together, these works invite viewers on a journey through the body’s capacity to hold memory, undergo change, recover from wounds, and create connection.
